Norwegian will connect Madrid to new York three times a week and fly to Los Angeles four times a week. In total, it offers 251,000 seats between Madrid and USA in its first year of operations.
Both routes will operate with new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of 344 seats (35 in Premium class and or 309 in tourist or economy class). In this way, Norwegian plant faces both Iberia and Air Europa with se new connections and anticipates competition of Level, low-cost brand of IAG long Radio, which operates from Barcelona transoceanic flights.
