The Labor inspection budget will rise by 10% at 2019 and 2020

The plan against labour exploitation will result in an increase in Labour Inspectorate's resources in 2019 and 2020. The increase will come in both money and staff, as it appears in economic memory that has been accessed by country accompanying this program that will eventually change its official name and be called Master Plan for decent work.

The increase in resources will not come this year, when plan envisages to launch two plans of shock against abuses in temporality and part-time day, because budgets for this exercise already approved collect an additional provision that Vein. We will have to wait for next two exercises, for which a 10% increase on regular budget is proposed, about 150 million each year. This implies an increase of 30 million between two exercises.

It also concretes number of inspectors and sub-inspectors that calculates Ministry of Labour to be incorporated into workforce during term of plan: 833. Of se, 367 correspond to selective processes already carried out or to realize that y would not have incorporated to work and 466 for next years. Neir document nor sources consulted quantify increase in se offers, although y do indicate that re will be a net increase in staff, which in July of this year is calculated in 970 inspectors and 906 sub-inspectors, numbers very similar to those of last Eight years.

A novelty of this second draft of plan and its economic memory is change of name. The President of government, Pedro Sánchez, had announced in an interview in this newspaper that he was going to put in place a plan against exploitation of labor. The Ministry of Labour took expression literally in title of initiative, but this provoked anger of employers CEOE and some association of inspectors. The first complained bitterly that with that name it seemed that Spain was "at beginning of twentieth century" and that this did not start negotiation well. The inspectors, for ir part, regretted that this denomination seemed to disparage ir work so far.

Heard se requests Government has decided to change name and takes new one from International Labour Organization, which often talks about "decent work" and also of terminology of UN, as justified by first paragraph of new draft, which It would have fixed this as one of its objectives in Agenda 2030.
