The government and venezuelan opposition accepted invitation of president of Dominican Republic, Danilo Medina, and former head of Government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, and will send today to this country to delegates to explore again possibility of a dialogue that contributes to solution of political crisis of Venezuela.

The meeting was announced yesterday by French Foreign minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, who took by surprise leaders opponents, who claimed not to know anything about it, but n coalition opposition Table of Democratic Unity (MUD) confirmed in a statement that will send its representatives clarifying that this does not mean that it will return to dialog.

"The invitation of president Danilo Medina does NOT represent start of a formal dialogue with government. The time for symbolic gestures is over," said MUD.

Maduro, for his part, appointed leader, Jorge Rodriguez, as his representative.

"The government of Venezuela sent day tomorrow (Wednesday) a committee on dialogue headed by Jorge Rodriguez, yes you are going to have dialogue, I affirm, and I welcome step that has given venezuelan opposition to join dialogue and hope you will keep and fulfill word," said president during a council of ministers broadcast on television.

This will be third time that government and opposition will attempt to install a dialogue, last, with Zapatero as a mediator, I failed in December 2016 after mutual accusations of breach of agreement.

"you Know very well former president Zapatero, and president Medina, that I have been a promoter of this dialogue, and I accept this new day of dialogue," he said Maduro.

The MUD, for his part, clarified that appointment will serve to "explore, with facilitation international, conditions of opposition to a negotiation would be with Government."

Their demands are: a schedule of elections include presidential elections of 2018, release of political prisoners, cessation of persecution against ir leaders, respect of Parliament of most opposition, and immediate attention of economic crisis.

Venezuela is facing an acute shortage of food and medicines and inflation that could reach to 720% this year, according to IMF.

This Tuesday, government of Dominican Republic and Zapatero was invited on a press release to parties to "forge a process of negotiation and political agreement".

The United Nations secretary-general, Antonio Guterres, expressed his "full support" to initiative of Medina and Shoemaker, noting that venezuelan crisis requires a "political solution based on dialogue".

Shoemaker has returned to Venezuela a few times this year, in midst of wave of protests against Maduro between April and July left some 125 dead, and installation of a Constituent Assembly composed only by chavistas and rejected by several governments of region and of Europe, including Spain.
