The 34th edition of heritage Days focuses on awareness of young public.

Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September, european heritage Days open to public doors of some 17 000 places in France (full program available on website Nothing in Ile-de-France, nearly 1 500 monuments, institutions, private hotels, industrial sites, religious buildings and houses of architect involved in event. Small selection of appointments, unpublished.

Visits, lectures and exercises of learning at INHA

This participation is a first for national Institute of art history, which will open doors of its two venues : Galerie Colbert on Saturday, and library of salle Labrouste Sunday. On gallery side, researchers, academics, museum curators and archaeologists will include lectures, workshops for adults and children (on registration), an exhibition and a film from same work : Ishtar gate of Babylon. The Villagexpo of 1966 in Essonne department

Created in 1966, following a competition organized by ministry of housing, district Villagexpo in Saint-Michel-sur-Orge (Essonne) has resulted in construction in 110 days of 184 lodges, with a reception hall, a school and two homes for teachers signed Jean Prouvé. A journey of discovery of diversity of buildings is organized, as well as a round table discussion on need to protect site, bringing toger urban planners and architects, specialists of this period.

Art deco or lounges XVIIIe embassies

a Few embassies open ir doors : those of Mexico, a jewel of Art deco (whose visits have already been sold), Great Britain, Finland, Russia, Czech Republic and Afghanistan. And, for first time, that of China, which was installed in hotel de Montesquiou, designed in 1778 by Brongniart. The building has housed departments from 1945 to 2007, before being acquired in 2010 by chinese government, which restored it and its salons Eighteenth century.

The old hospital Laennec

In 2000, hospital Laennec, founded in 1634, was closing its doors and moving its services at european hospital Georges-Pompidou. After an extensive rehabilitation programme, group of French luxury Kering and House of Balenciaga have installed ir seats. While site will be open to public this weekend, visitors will be able to discover a selection of works of contemporary art of françois Pinault Collection in chapel, in creations of haute couture from archives of House of Balenciaga, and travel in history of site in virtual reality.

The office of minister of culture

The minister of culture, Françoise Nyssen, will be present on Saturday to opening of Palais-Royal, to accommodate visitors in his office. The public, who will be invited to test new ways to visit places of heritage (video game, visit 360° and virtual reality headsets), will also be able to discover an exhibition of fifty works of national Furniture of all eras, and attend workshops of discovery know-how.

Arts of circus in ring’

Website managed by City of Paris and La Villette, former school of circus Annie-Fratellini is currently a place of residence of creation for young artists of circus, street and puppet. In this little corner of countryside nestled under boulevard périphérique, visitors can meet artists-in-residence and discover a preview of ir future creation.

The new orthodox cadral of Holy Trinity

Inaugurated in October 2016, cadral with five bulbs golden of Holy Trinity, signed Jean-Michel Wilmotte, will be exceptionally open this weekend. RATP between lines
