Roman Polanski accused for the fourth time sexual assault on minor
The Swiss police announced, on Tuesday, 3 October, to investigate accusations of Renate Langer, who said that she had been raped in Gstaad by Roman Polanski in 1972, when she was 15 years old.

Renate Langer was interrogated on 26 September by Swiss police, said chief of police communication of canton of St. Gallen, Krusni Hanspeter, which confirms existence of an investigation, details of which were published on Tuesday by New York Times.

Renate Langer, now 61 years old, is a former actress born in Munich. She is fourth woman to come out of shadows to accuse of sexual assault Roman Polanski, now 84 years old.

In 1977, filmmaker admitted to having had illegal sex with Samantha Geimer, n 13 years old, in House of Jack Nicholson in Los Angeles, while actor was travelling. In exchange for this confession, a judge had agreed not to withhold any more serious charges. But convinced that latter would come back on his promise and send him to prison for perhaps decades, filmmaker had fled to France.

In 2010, British actress Charlotte Lewis stated that director had forced her to have a sexual relationship when she was 16 years old. A third woman, identified as "Robin", had accused director of sexual assault in August when she was just 16 years old, in 1973.

Renate Langer would have met Roman Polanski when she was a model in Munich. Attracted by possibility of a casting, she would have visited Director in his house in Gstaad, where he allegedly raped her. She said that she had come out of her silence following statements of "Robin" in August, and because her parents were no longer alive.

The Swiss police do not yet know wher criminal charges will be withheld against filmmaker, but seniority of facts makes this hyposis less probable.

The director Oscar for pianist has always refused to return to United States without assurance that he would no longer be imprisoned.
