69 people died in the plague epidemic in Madagascar

Madagascar In a written statement from National Disaster Administration (BNGRC), 69 of 600 people who have been caught in epidemic since August have lost ir lives. According to data disclosed by institution on 13 October, 63 of 610 suspected plague resulted in death. The Ministry of Education postponed opening of schools for third time due to continuation of outbreak and set beginning of new education year on October 23rd. Because of outbreak, Seychelles Airways has stopped ir flights to Madagascar, and France urged citizens to travel to Madagascar to be careful. For free treatment of plague patients, Ministry of Health has established a health center in Antananarivo and country has been distributed nearly 2,000 quick diagnostic tests in order to detect suspicious cases. The disease of plague is revealed by symptoms such as fever, fatigue and cough.
