Red Bull Music Academy joins 25-year party with a programming advance based on Diggin' ' in carts, project that replays history of Japanese video game music. Kode9 will present a show inspired by video games with visuals of legendary Realizer anime Koji Morimoto, composers Yuzo Koshiro Motohiro Kawashima make a show inspired by classics such as Streets of Rage live, with visuals of Konx-OM-Pax; and New Zealander DITC Sound, whose set would unearth hidden gems from rich history of genre. Sonar continues its journey around world starting with third editions of its festivals in Latin America: this past weekend in Buenos Aires (26 November) and, next, in Bogotá (2 December). Already in 2018, 6th edition of Sónar Reykjavík (March 16th and 17th), and second editions of Sonar Hong Kong (17 March) and Sonar Istanbul (6 and 7 April) will take place.
