The Vice-President, Carmen Calvo, and Vice-President of government, Pere Aragonès, have agreed to hold a first meeting to retake relations between two administrations after yesterday's interview between Pedro Sánchez and "La Moncloa", according to Advance chain Ser and has confirmed this journal of sources from both governments. The meeting will be this Thursday in Madrid and is produced at request of Catalan vice-President who, for issues of previous agenda, had to move to Madrid. The presidency of Government has not specified time of meeting.
This contact is part of normalization of relations between state and Generalitat that started this Monday with meeting held between two presidents. The dialogue between two institutions will take place within state-Generalitat bilateral commission, as announced yesterday. According to self, both leaders spoke on phone during meeting between Sanchez and Torra. The interview will be held before Council of Ministers which will appoint representatives of Government in bilateral commission.
Torra himself confirmed appointment of Calvo and Aragonès during an interview this morning in Catalunya Ràdio. Torra explained that this is one of agreements reached at meeting with Sanchez and explained in that bilateral committee that will kick-start rest of meetings between ministers and Consellers, as one between Minister of territorial policies , Meritxell Batet, and foreign minister, Ernest Maragall.
