The Prosecutor of Supreme Court has asked Judge Pablo Llarena to confirm prisons decreed against Toni ate, Meritxell Serret and Lluís Puig and dictate a new European order of arrest and surrender against m to rectify error in a way that has led to Belgian justice to reject surrender of three excouncillors. In a note issued on Thursday, prosecution gives reason to Llarena that indictment should have been valid for Belgian authorities to process delivery of fugitives, but warns that, since discrepancies are formal in nature and do not refer to fund Of claim, main thing is to ensure delivery and making available to supreme of fugitives.More information

The prosecution understands that indictment issued by judge on 23 March constitutes a sufficient judicial title to substantiate issuance of European order for detention and delivery of three fugitives and meets all requirements of Euroórdenes. The Public prosecutor's Office also recalls that Llarena never deactivated national arrest and detention orders issued by National court in November, so y remain in force.
However, prosecutor's office has sent a report to Supreme Court requesting that it dictate maintenance and ratification of unconditional provisional prison agreed prior to three fugitives in Belgium and to issue a European arrest warrant and Delivery.
