The PSOE's intention is that Catalan public media continue to operate as it has until now without executive intervening in m. This means, moreover, that executives of se — and especially president of Catalan Corporation of Audiovisual media [Núria Llorach] and director of TV3 [Vicent Sanchis] — continue in ir posts. The appointment of both positions is responsibility of Parlament of Catalonia, so PSOE intends with its amendment that Catalan chamber maintains this power, and cannot be assumed by Government with 155.

In this way it would also be preserving anor of competences of Parlament, whose activity is limited by package of 155 intervention. Parlament was anor of PSOE's battle horses in negotiating with government. The Socialists did not agree to dissolve or suspend ir activity, and that it has been merit of ir participation in agreement, because will of executive was anor, according to socialist sources of negotiation.

The PSOE seeks an agreement with PP to incorporate its amendments to final text that tomorrow approves plenary of Senate, although in direction are aware that PP is in control of what comes forward given its absolute majority in upper house.
