The supreme requires Montoro to explain why he says that public money was not used in the illegal referendum

Judge Pablo Llarena has requested Minister of Finance, Cristóbal Montoro, to inform him "as soon as possible" on data on which he bases his claim that public funds were not used in illegal referendum of 1 October. In a Providence dictated this Wednesday, magistrate of Supreme Court urges Montoro to inform him of "objective support" of his statements which, according to judge, contradict sources of evidence contained in instruction of cause.

The statements of Minister of Finance for which Llarena asks for explanations were collected in an interview published last Monday in world.
