19 NGO urges UN Arakan

A campaign was launched for the United Nations, which gave the Myanmar government a feeble response to the persecution of the Arabanese Muslims.

19 NGO urges UN Arakan

The Myanmar government has launched a campaign of 19 NGOs to draw attention to persecution of Arabanese Muslims and to summon UN to task.

To draw attention to humanitarian tragedy posed by violence of Muslims in Arakan and to meet basic needs of people in struggle for life, program will call for Caspian Education Culture and Solidarity Association and 19 The NGO's contribution will be held at Uskudar Kizkulesi restaurant.

The program will launch an e-mail and Twitter campaign supported by 54 NGO to be summoned to United Nations mission to solve problem.

Family and Social policy Minister Mr. Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, AK Party deputy chairman. Ist. Mv. Mr. Ravza Kavakci Kan, daughter of Prime Minister, Mr. Büşra Koykbay, Uskudar Mayor Mr. Hilmi Turkmen and Red Crescent general manager Mr. Ibrahim Altan will participate.
