A mass shootout in Greek quarter of Toronto (Canada) occurred this Sunday at 22.00, local time, has caused two dead, one of m attacker, and 13 injured, according to City chief of police, Mark Saunders. The event occurred in a restaurant in neighborhood of Riverdale.
The victim who lost his life is a young woman, police officer said at a press conference. A girl is also in "critical condition". The shooter died after an exchange of gunfire with police, said Saunders, who warned that it was still too early to know motives of attack. The deputy commander of emergency services, Shawn Staff, had previously pointed to newspaper Globe and Mail that "several have serious wounds", without offering an exact figure.

The authorities have assured local media that author of shots "is no longer active," but have not offered details about ir identity. "We are investigating all possible motives. We do not rule out any idea, "said chief Saunders, who explained that shooter would have used a pistol.
The witnesses explained that y had heard about a score of shots, and that a large medical and security device had been quickly moved to area.
