Attack of a court in Misrata, Libya
At least three people were killed and twenty ors wounded on Wednesday, 4 October, in an attack in Misrata city, Libya, by fighters of Islamic State group.

The attack occurred in complex of courts, a building in centre of Misrata under militia control that had helped Government recognized by international community to hunt in 2016 EI of Sirte, its main stronghold in Libya.

According to Libyan news agency LANA, attack coincided with arrival of inmates who were members of EI at court complex where y were to be heard by prosecutor's office.

Chaos since 2011

Libya has been plunged into chaos since fall of regime of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011. Today, two authorities are arguing about power: on one hand, Union Government (NEG), recognized by international community and based in Tripoli; On or, an authority exercising its power in east of country with support of mighty Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

The EI had taken advantage of chaos to establish itself in Sirte in June 2015. The neg, assisted mainly by militias of Misrata and with air support of US Army, resumed Sirte in December 2016.
