The Chinese High People's Court (SPC) reported that 2 million 740 thousand people have been detained by plane and high-speed train because of illegal travel in China. Investigations involving public safety authorities and banks will result in a penalty of 7 million 490 persons. The courts in the country are able to impose penalties or restraints by identifying their identity card and passport information with the infringement of the law by the information technology they use. Air travel in the country is blocked by people who work in partnership with airline and railway companies, all of which are under state control. As well as for train journeys, both at the ticket office and at the stations there is a requirement to provide identification to security personnel.
