United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterrespredicted that scientists, hurricanes and violent storms would be " new normali of a warming world", along with climate change.
In UN headquarters, Guterres explained to reporters before his visit to Caribbean, where Irma and Maria Hurricanes hit.
Noting that connections between violent wear conditions and climate change are getting clearer every day, Guterres said, "The new normali of a world that heats up scientists, hurricanes and violent storms "He predicted.
"Sea levels have risen 25 centimeters since 1870"
The sea levels have risen by 25 centimeters since 1870, and in last 30 years, 3 times economic losses of air-related disasters, and 5 times increased, Guterres, climate change warms seas, storms much more rain and increased severity of Hurricanes.
Guterres stressed that world has necessary technologies and wealth for climate change, but more determination should be shown.
